Alabama once again showed well at the latest Miss America competition.

Miss Alabama 2025 Emma Terry was one of 52 contestants taking part in the yearly event, held this year in Orlando.

Terry, who is also Miss Hoover, started the competition as one of 11 semifinalists chosen.

Those contestants then competed in talent, evening gown and interview sessions.

Terry then became one of the five finalists to be Miss America.

As the names were read, Terry was chosen as fourth runner-up.

Miss New York, Cassie Donegan was picked as Miss America 2026.

Miss America 2025 was Alabama's own Abbie Stockard.
