I am absolutely appalled at the attitude of some people regarding the proposed memorial for the Hillcrest children.
Our beach is a place for everyone to enjoy, including recreation and reflection, and no one should deny this privilege to anyone.
The establishment of a memorial garden in such a beautiful place would be perfect for the purpose and a place for the families involved and the community to reflect.
