The water leak at the junction next to Victoria Centre in Nottingham
Several roads have been closed in Nottingham city centre after a burst main caused water to shoot 30 feet into the air. The jet rose from the road at the junction joining Milton Street and Shakespeare Street outside Victoria Centre on Monday morning (September 8).
Police have closed off the two roads, as well as part of Mansfield Road, while Severn Trent workers try to fix the leak. Bus services are being diverted as a result, with Nottingham City Transport (NCT) writing on X that there are "severe delays".
