A man has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a biker was killed in a crash near Birmingham.

It happened on the A446 near Hams Hall, north of Coleshill and east of Sutton Coldfield , shortly after 1.30pm on Friday, September 5.

The victim, a man in his 70s, died at the scene .

Warwickshire Police said the man’s family has been informed and were being supported.

Dimitar Kalchev, 48, of no fixed abode, appeared before magistrates on Saturday, September 6, and was remanded to next appear at Warwick Crown Court on Thursday, October 9.
