LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Police Department is currently at the scene of an accident involving a train that happened on Monday afternoon.

According to reports from officials with Union Pacific (UP), at about 3:30 p.m., a trespasser was on the UP tracks when they were tragically hit and killed by a train.

They say the accident happened near 6400 Geyer Springs Road, which is not identified as a train crossing.

No information has been released regarding the victim's identity.
