PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man has learned his fate after he was convicted of stabbing and killing a woman in Phoenix in May 2024.
Eduardo Galindo-Ramirez, 34, was sentenced to 18 years and six months in prison for the death of Andrea Casarubias Romero , Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Monday.
Romero, 24, was found dead in May 2024 after a trail of blood led officers to her body inside Galindo-Ramirez’s residence near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road . She had been stabbed over 30 times.
“At no point did this defendant show any regard for Andrea’s life,” Mitchell said. “He attempted to wash himself clean of his actions, but thanks to the diligent work of the Phoenix Police Department and the perseverance of her family, he was brought to justice.”
