PHOENIX — An Arizona man who stabbed his girlfriend over 30 times, ultimately killing her, was sentenced to more than 18 years in prison.
The Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced on Monday that Eduardo Galindo-Ramirez will spend 18 and 1/2 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder, which is a class one felony, for killing Andrea Casarubias Romero last year.
Police were led to Galindo-Ramirez's apartment in May of 2024 by a trail of blood. The responding officers entered his home, near Indian School Road and 27th Avenue, and found Romero with more than 30 stab wounds.
