Six creations celebrating autumn are being highlighted at South Surrey's Darts Hill Garden Park this month.

Scarecrow Stroll is a family-friendly event hosted at the 1633 170 St. park by the Darts Hill Garden Conservancy Trust Society.

Visitors are invited to wander the garden’s meadow and historic orchard to discover six scarecrow installations and vote for their favourite.

The stroll offers more than just scarecrows, a news release notes.

"September is one of the most delightful times to visit Darts Hill Garden, when autumn foliage glows, late blooms brighten the borders, and fruit ripens across the orchard," the release states.

Society officials add the goal is to “share the garden’s beauty with the community.”
