It was a grand final performance that summed up the Nyngan Tigers as a club.

Passion, determination, and a refusal to give in.

A steely effort in defence, a raucous fanbase, and two tries to one of the club's most exciting players led the Tigers to the Peter McDonald Premiership reserve grade decider on Sunday, September 7.

Backrower Cale Dunn crossed twice in a 16-8 win over the Macquarie Raiders that sent the Tigers faithful into raptures.

"It's all effort and attitude in grand finals, and that's what the boys showed," Tigers stalwart and five-eighth Matt Sheather said.

"We keep fighting. We've got a never-say-die attitude, and we keep showing up, and that's what we did today."

The smallest town in the PMP has a strong connection to its rugby league club.
