Avery Granata scored two goals and added an assist to lead Holmdel to a 4-0 win over Freehold Borough in Holmdel.

After a scoreless first quarter, Holmdel broke through with two goals in the second period to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Ryann Buchan chipped in a goal and two assists in the victory while Teagan Flaherty also scored.

Charlotte Wall made four saves to earn the shutout in goal for Holmdel (1-1). Adriana Romano stopped 17 shots for Freehold Borough (1-2) in the loss.

Holmdel outshot Freehold Borough 10-4 and had an 11-4 edge in penalty corners.
