Over 300 grams of illegal drugs have been seized from a motor vehicle, after it was stopped for a roadside breath and drug test.
About 1.30am on Monday, September 8, 2025, officers attached to Central West Police District were patrolling on Newell Highway at Alectown, 24 kilometres north of Parkes , when they stopped a sedan for random testing.
The driver - a 35-year-old man - was subjected to a roadside breath test and drug test, which both allegedly returned positive results.
Police conducted a search and seized about 266 grams of methylamphetamine, 77 grams of cocaine and 17 grams of methamphetamine along with a radar from the vehicle.
