Brits are warned of major travel disruption across France tomorrow, September 10, as a general strike takes place across the nation. Rail services are expected to be impacted, while road and ferry port blockages are likely.
Eurostar, which operates services between London St Pancras International and Paris and Lille in France, said that it expects its trains to run as normal, but passengers will need to plan ahead for connecting journeys or for travel to the station.
In a statement on its website the rail operator said: “There will be a general strike in France on Wednesday 10 September.
“Our trains are expected to run as normal, but public transport and domestic train traffic could be disrupted.
