EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Five names are on the ballot to become the new mayor of East Cleveland.

On Tuesday, voters will narrow down the list and the top two winners of the primary election will face each other on Nov. 4.

The contenders on the primary ballot are:

Sean Ward

Juanita Gowdy

Vidah Aminah Saeed

Former interim mayor Sandra Morgan

Current mayor Lateek Shabazz

This past July, former East Cleveland Mayor Brandon King was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours of community service.

King must also pay $27,000 in restitution and is banned from serving in an elected position.

On May 29, a jury found King guilty of the following charges:
