At least two protests by immigration advocates are planned for Tuesday in Chicago as President Donald Trump says " Operation Midway Blitz ," is expected to begin in Chicago and Illinois.

The protests come as the White House says it is planning to "target the criminal illegal aliens who flocked to Chicago and Illinois."

One of the events, organized by faith leaders and clergy, is being described as "Resistance Tuesday."

“Send resources, not troops," organizers said. "We will continue to preach the Gospel and build a beloved community. But be clear— we will resist unconstitutional military occupation. We will never surrender our liberties for a false promise of security.”
