FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – Floyd County Schools says a high number of bus drivers called out sick on Tuesday.
As a result, some buses did not run.
The district asked parents and guardians to transport students to and from school.
“We also want to extend a heartfelt apology to our students, as we know this disruption may affect their routines and daily experience,” the district said in a social media post.
It’s not clear yet how long the transportation disruption may last.
