LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville is getting ready to welcome tens of thousands of music fans for back-to-back music festivals: Bourbon and Beyond and Louder than Life. Tourists and locals are invited to kick off the events with a party in NuLu.

Bourbon, Brunch and Bluegrass will take place throughout NuLu with bourbon barrel rolling, bourbon tray carrying and stick horse racing contests on South Shelby St. between Market St. and Jefferson St.

There will also be live bluegrass music on The Nanny Goat Strut stage located on S. Shelby St., as well as the NuLu Marketplace stage located within NuLu Marketplace.

Throughout the area, there will be live bourbon barrel art and food trucks.

More than a dozen restaurants will also be offering brunch and drink specials.
