YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - There will be no lawsuit -- at least not for now -- between Mahoning County Commissioners and the Board of Elections over where the board stores its equipment and houses its staff.

During a special meeting of the board on Tuesday morning, Chair Dave Betras once again told his colleagues that he is tired of waiting for commissioners to act, especially after the county passed an August 28 deadline to be in compliance with directives from the Ohio Secretary of State.

Others on the board said there have been meetings recently between commissioners and directors, and all agreed -- for now, at least -- to continue those discussions to make commissioners more aware of what is needed.
