“Today” show contributor Donna Farizan is leaving “Jenna & Friends” after 12 years.

“Today we say goodbye to our incredible friend, Donna,” an Instagram post from the show on Monday read. “She’s brought us joy, heart, and unforgettable stories. Wishing her nothing but success and love on her next chapter.”

Farizan, 34, got a full-time job at the “Today” show after graduating from George Washington University. During the show’s Monday broadcast, she said her decision to leave was inspired by a series she launched a year ago called “Own Your Power.”

“I challenged myself to speak my truth,” she said. “And now, after 12 years with ‘Today,’ I’m challenging myself to spread my wings beyond the show to see what new and exciting opportunities await me professionally.”
