Fears of WW3 breaking out have skyrocketed after Israel carried out airstrikes in Qatar. Benjamin Netanyahu claimed they were targeting "Hamas leadership" in the capital city of Doha in response to the October 7 massacre. ‌

Plumes of smoke ascended across the Doha skyline this afternoon after "eight separate" explosions were heard in the Middle Eastern city which hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Minutes later, Israel took responsibility for the strikes a senior official said were aimed at top Hamas leaders. ‌
