Hamilton police have arrested a third man in connection with the April shooting that killed innocent bystander Harsimrat Randhawa.

Police arrested 29-year-old Jaiyden Jones, of no fixed address, in Toronto on Monday. He is charged with first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder.

His charges are in addition to 26-year-old Obiesea Okafor, who was arrested Aug. 7 in North York and faces three counts of attempted murder; and 32-year-old Jerdaine Foster, who was arrested Aug. 5 and faces charges of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder.

Randhawa had just exited a city bus and was waiting to cross Upper James Street, near South Bend Road, when she was struck by a stray bullet around 7:30 p.m. on April 17.
