SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Food insecurity is a growing problem in our community, and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana is spreading the word on ways to help.
It’s all part of Hunger Action Day, which is a campaign by Feeding America and its network of food banks to raise awareness and inspire public involvement to end hunger.
According to Feeding America, in 2023 over 100,000 people were food insecure, including 34,000 children in northern Indiana.
