The Madison Central School Board approved a resolution supporting the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School District's reorganization/dissolution plan at its Sept. 8 meeting.
The plan, which the ORR School Board approved after voters submitted a petition for dissolution, would distribute the school district's land into the nine neighboring districts, including Madison. Under the plan, the Madison Central School District would receive the currently-standing Oldham-Ramona and Rutland schools if the town of Ramona or township of Rutland declined to take on the properties, Madison Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said. ×
