NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police are investigating an armed robbery in which a victim reported as many as half a dozen men attacking him and stealing his things.
Police responded to Northside and North Forest Drives early Tuesday, around 1 a.m. when the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office reported that they were with a man who was bleeding.
When they arrived, they met the victim, a 38-year-old man, who said he was earlier at the 7/11 on Ashley Phosphate and Stall Roads buying food.
While he was checking out, the victim said he accidentally picked up someone else’s phone but put it back on the counter before leaving the store.
