YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A teacher at Youngstown City Schools is on paid leave as part of an open investigation.

A spokesperson for the Youngstown City School District confirmed the teacher's status but said she was unable to provide further information on the pending investigation.

The teacher has been at the district since 2002.

No criminal charges have been filed, so WKBN is not naming the teacher at this point.

A report was filed with the Youngstown Police Department on the incident, but the report was not available to WKBN as of Tuesday afternoon.
