Police are searching for a man suspected of setting a fire in Queens that killed two people in their 70s on Monday.

The blaze broke out around 3:20 p.m. inside a home on 254th Street in Bellerose, the NYPD said.

Police said a 77-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman were found dead at the scene after firefighters extinguished the fire. Their names weren’t immediately released.

Investigators believe the blaze was deliberately set.

The suspect, described as a man in his 30s or 40s, was last seen wearing a black hat, a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers, according to the NYPD.

Police are treating the case as a homicide and released video footage of the suspect early Tuesday morning.
