On Sunday night, The Who bid farewell to Chicago in what’s being billed as their final tour of the U.S. and Canada. A bittersweet grand finale of their illustrious six-decade career.

The tour, aptly titled "The Song Is Over North America Farewell Tour," named after The Who’s 1971 classic song, began in August.

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey were in fine form and genuinely seemed to still be having fun as they performed in Chicago, their command of the stage undiminished.

The joyous farewell to Chicago was befitting of a band whose nearly six decades of performing and a vast repertoire of timeless classics have touched many. Blues titan Joe Bonamassa opened the show with a commanding display of guitar prowess and showmanship.
