A traffic camera will be back in service on the Trans-Canada Highway at 10 Street N.W. eastbound starting Oct. 6
The province has approved a third Calgary intersection for automated traffic enforcement, more than five months after removing 70 per cent of photo radar from sites across Alberta.
Automated enforcement for both red-light and speed violations will resume Oct. 6 at eastbound 16 Avenue and 10 Street N.W., CPS said in a news release. The intersection was the site of a fatal Aug. 24 collision in which a 20-year-old motorcyclist, believed to be travelling at a high speed, entered on a red light, struck another vehicle and later died of his injuries.
