A woman has been accused of tampering with evidence after the presumed death of an American Airlines flight attendant who mysteriously vanished earlier this year — all because of a butt-dial.

Joni Thomas, 62, has been charged with tampering with evidence in the suspected murder of 47-year-old Rana Nofal Soluri — an Envoy Air flight attendant last seen alive in March, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KXAS .

A co-worker of Soluri’s reported her missing on June 11, telling police she hadn’t heard from the Fort Worth, Texas, woman since March, authorities said.

Soluri was recovering from minor surgery and not working around the time she is believed to have been killed.
