MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman was seriously injured after shots rang out Monday morning in Whitehaven, police said.

Memphis Police (MPD) said officers were called just after 7:45 a.m. to Huckleberry Street to a shooting. They arrived to find a woman had been injured by gunfire, police said.

MPD said she was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

FOX13 arrived to find a red Nissan Altima appeared to have been shot up with several evidence markers surrounding it.
