GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska’s agricultural community faces growing challenges, from rising input costs to falling commodity prices and higher interest rates. KSNB Local4 will livestream two important discussions at Husker Harvest Days on Wednesday.
At 10:30 a.m. Wednesday , Nebraska Farm Bureau hosts a producer roundtable to explore how these pressures are shaping the agricultural economy and what measures are being advocated to keep family farms and ranches profitable.
Then at 11 a.m. , Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen and Nebraska Department of Agriculture Director Sherry Vinton will headline the Nebraska Farmer Hour , moderated by Nebraska State FFA officers. The session will highlight the future of agriculture and opportunities for young producers, followed by a live Q&A.
