LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Drug Enforcement Administration is launching a campaign this week to prevent drug abuse and misuse on college campuses in Michigan and Ohio.
The DEA reports a significant drop in drug overdoses in the U.S, but cautions that doesn’t mean the problem is solved.
For college students, finding the most effective study method can be challenging. However, finding a way to stay focused is even more challenging.
“Students are looking for that edge to help keep them awake in the middle of the night, to study for an exam or write a paper. And sometimes energy drinks don’t cut it,” said Derek Ress, Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the Drug Enforcement Administration.
