(QATAR ISRAEL STRIKE)

Israel launched a strike on Hamas' leadership in Qatar's capital city Tuesday, widening its campaign against the militant group.

Hamas says that all of its leaders survived but that five lower-ranking members were killed.

The Justice Department has charged a man with the fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian refugee last month on a North Carolina commuter train.

The charge Tuesday means he could face the death penalty.

Protests against Nepal’s short-lived ban on social media intensified as demonstrators set government buildings on fire and attacked leaders.

The prime minister resigned amid widening criticism of the country’s political elite but tens of thousands remained on the street. At least 19 have been killed in the protests.
