Week three of the high school football season is here, and the High School Huddle Game of the Week is Briarwood Christian hosting Carver-Birmingham.

Both teams come into this game with wins in Week Two. Briarwood got past Ramsay on the road 14-13, while Carver beat John Carroll 32-16.

Briarwood is 1-2 on the year, while Carver is 1-0 after two open weeks.

According to the Alabama High School Football Historical Society, this is the fourth all-time meeting between these two teams. The Lions lead the series 2-1, that one loss coming last year on the road to Carver, 20-7.
