As Dash Car Wash rebrands two former Fast & Friendly locations in Maricopa, the operator behind the brand is drawing scrutiny for a wave of consumer complaints alleging duplicate and unauthorized charges.

InMaricopa heard from about a dozen Maricopa residents who personally experienced double charges or hefty, unexpected fees. Many have taken to social media, where dozens more are raising similar concerns.

“They charged me for four memberships in August alone,” said Sorrento resident Amanda Rogers, 33. “We’ve been overcharged by around $500 in the year or so we’ve been customers.”

Another customer, 64-year-old Nora Taylor from Province, said she was signed up without her approval:
