NEW YORK (PIX11) – The Department of Education failed to provide services and required instruction for English Language Learners, according to a new report issued by New York City Comptroller Brad Lander.
The audit, released on Monday, alleges that the DOE did not comply with State regulations, significantly impacting Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Bengali, and Arabic-speaking communities.
