Iposted a run of sandwich photos on Instagram recently, which prompted a flood of “best sandwiches???!?” DMs. I’m not (for now) working on such a list, though a streak of standouts over the past few weeks has me tempted to do so at some point next year.

If I ever do write it, one of the first three paragraphs will start this way: “More than anything else, using the right bread to accentuate and support the fillings is essential to building an extraordinary sandwich.”
