EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene’s Downtown Riverfront area now has a second residential building, with the grand opening of the portal residence. Atkins Dame Inc. built both apartment buildings and they plan on constructing at least four more in the area.
Since EWEB decided to sell their riverfront property to the City of Eugene in 2013, the city has made an effort to completely redevelop the area; and this newest piece of residential housing is another step in creating Eugene's Riverfront Neighborhood.
EWEB sold their riverfront property for $5.75 million in 2018, since purchasing the property the city quickly began developing the area.
