BELTON, Texas — The City of Belton will permanently close a section of W. Avenue O near the I-14 frontage road beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 10, the City has announced.

According to the City, TxDOT has sold the area between W. Avenue O and the W. US 190 service road. The portion of W. Avenue O ahead of the portion that was sold will be closed to keep vehicles on the frontage road.

The City said Old Golf Course Road will also be extended to connect with the I-14 frontage road.
