Re: Recent headlines stating that Mark Carney said his ministers are looking for ways to cut spending at cabinet retreat

Since cutting spending confounds the Carney cabinet (Liberals, you know), how about some grassroots suggestions:

Cut all ministers’ and MPs’ salaries by 25 per cent. Lead by example.

Eliminate “retreats.” Meet in person on Parliament Hill or around Meech Lake.

Fly domestically behind the curtain in economy. If we can, you can.

Scrap subsidized child care. It’s not working.
