Georgia regards Tennessee football as one of its biggest rivals. That’s not good news for the Vols.
Starting in 2017 (coach Kirby Smart’s second season) when Georgia began competing for national titles, the Bulldogs are 30-2 against rivals Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Florida , and Auburn .
Smart also is accustomed to success at Neyland Stadium ever since he lost two games as a Georgia player. He never lost at Neyland as a longtime assistant coach on Nick Saban’s Alabama’s staff and is unbeaten at this venue as Georgia’s coach.
