MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Three vehicles including a tractor trailer were involved in a crash have caused some lanes of southbound Interstate 495 to be blocked Wednesday morning. Police said at least three people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As of 6:56 a.m., all lanes are open and incident has been cleared however outer loops delays remain beginning near MD-650.

Police have not yet identified the injured driver or the other drivers involved in the crash.

The crash was first reported around 4:12 a.m. on I-495 Outer Loop at the American Legion Bridge past the Clara Barton Parkway (Exit 41). Maryland State Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue quickly reported to the scene.
