FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A former male nurse aide who is accused of sexually assaulting a 73-year-old Grady Memorial Hospital patient was denied bond in a hearing on Tuesday.

Lay passed away weeks after the incident from "unrelated health issues." The family attorney said during her final days, the "traumatic incident" took her into a "downward spiral in her mental health."
