A domestic abuser with a "horrific" criminal record has been jailed for nearly three years after a string of assaults on his partner. ‌

Over a six-month period Sean Phee choked the woman, burst her lip, gave her a black eye and battered her on the head with a bottle. ‌

Airdrie Sheriff Court heard that despite the repeated violence she wants Phee back in her life. ‌
