BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Bowling Green will soon be home to an innovative company that could bring nearly $200 million in economic growth.
OgMentum ARK, a research company in data communications, telecommunications and distributed sensing systems, is now bringing its headquarters into the heart of Bowling Green.
Mayor Todd Alcott said the company’s research is expected to help a diverse number of fields.
“It can be used for medical; it can be used for alternative fuels," Alcott said.
The $475,000 project is expected to create at least 24 high-wage jobs within its first three years such as scientists and engineers.
A component of the company’s relocation is its partnership with Western Kentucky University to help advance research within the area.
