DANVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Newly released body camera footage is raising questions about a state trooper's use of force.
The video shows what happened after Trooper Seth Owens pulled over a driver for speeding.
Attorney Ephraim Helton said his client, Devin Langsdorf, was stopped by Owens after driving about 20 miles per hour over the speed limit. The posted speed limit on U.S. I-50 near Danville is 55.
"My client was concerned and said, he (Trooper Owens) needed to go get his body cam. He also advised him he had a three-year-old child in the car," Helton said.
Helton said Langsdorf asked the trooper if he could pull to a better area, away from the vehicles on the highway, but instead, he was asked to get out of the vehicle right there.
