NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man wanted with an active warrant for child pornography on Tuesday, September 9.

Deputies responded to a home in northern Jennings County in search of Johnathyn Lewis, who had an active arrest warrant through Jennings County Circuit Court for Possession of Child Pornography (Level 6 Felony).

As deputies approached the residence, Sergeant Watts and K9 Brock observed Lewis fleeing from the back of the home. Despite repeated commands to stop, the suspect continued to run. K9 Brock was deployed and successfully apprehended him. He was then taken into custody without further incident.
