GREENVILLE, Pa. - Part of Route 58 in Mercer County is scheduled to close for one week beginning Tuesday, September 30.

Route 58 will be closed to westbound traffic near Thiel College in Greenville between Packard Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue from Tuesday, September 30 until Tuesday, October 7 as part of the Route 18-Route 58 Improvement Project.

This closure is part of Phase 4 of the project, which includes work on drainage, paving and a new traffic signal at the intersection. From there, Phase 5 will consise of the remaining milling, placing the final layer of asphalt throughout the project area, landscaping and pavement markings.

The project is expected to be completed by late October.
