Liberty has won three consecutive district championships and it is determined to stay at the top.

The Redhawks, who are the No. 1 team in the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 5A state poll, opened the 11-5A season on Tuesday with a 25-14, 25-14, 25-16 sweep of Frisco as they improved to 19-3 overall.
