But what you don’t often realize is that what you’re practicing isn’t always what you’re perfecting.
“You’ve really got to lock in and you have to stay consistent,” said Luke Bryant.
“My job, right when I sit down, is just to play,” said Christian Londono.
“On average, we’re putting in eight-to-12-hour days,” said Gabe Powell.
“I sit there, and I flip the bag in my hand over and over again until I’m ready,” said Maddie McBride.
When Luke, Maddie, Christian, and Gabe tell people what sport they play in college, there are two reactions:
