PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One man, who was pulled over for speeding in Eastern Kentucky, was sentenced in a federal drug case.

George Anthony Walker was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Man pleads guilty to federal drug charge

According to an indictment, Walker was indicted by a federal grand jury on the charge of knowingly/intentionally possessing with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a substance containing meth.

Walker was pulled over in March on Hambley Boulevard in Pikeville, when police clocked him going 51 miles per hour in a 35 mile-per-hour zone.

According to Walker’s plea agreement, police seized nearly 112 grams of methamphetamine mixture in the trunk of his vehicle after they pulled him over.
